What is Filmora 9?

Getting Started in Filmora 9
It’s easy to get started in Filmora9. Rather than creating a new composition, you can just import some footage and the program will recognize the size of the clip. Either choose to match the size of your footage, or set your project to certain quality dimensions, like 1920 x 1080p HD. Filmora9 recognizes most file formats including plenty of popular ones like .mov .mp4 .mpg and many others.
You can easily cut clips by clicking the scissors icon and then selecting where you want to cut your clips. Then, once you have a clip selected, you can easily colour-grade and adjust that area specifically. The best part is, it’s super easy to add LUTs to your footage in Filmora9.
Just select your clip and then click the ‘Advanced Color Tuning’ icon. It looks like a paint palette with a brush. Once it opens, select the All Presets drop-down, and choose 3D LUT. Screen and Voice Recorder
Another brilliant feature in this program is the ability to record your screen and/or your voice for voice-overs. This comes in handy for people recording tutorials, walk-throughs, support documentation, and other types of videos where screen and voice recording are important.
It’s easy to do too! Just select from the ‘Record’ drop-down when you’re in the main Media tab and choose to record from your webcam, your screen, or to record your voice. For recording audio, just choose your device and then start recording!
Adding Titles and Effects
Next, I want to add some titles and cool transitions/effects to my edit. For this video I’m using some GoPro footage from a trip to Paris. Let’s see if we can find a cool title to add.
For this edit, I picked Title 28. You just click the + over the effect and drag it into your timeline to add the text. Then double click the text effect in your timeline to edit the text, font, and other settings.
Filmora9 also has tons of cool elements and animated designs you can add to your videos. For my travel video, I want to have a little message about where we were, the Arc de Triomphe.
Go to Elements > Element Motion Shape 6 to recreate this effect. After I added the element, I added another title with smaller text to share the message.
